A Customer approached us with a preliminary design of a stamped sheet metal retaining clip, the clip had five prongs and each had to provide a clamping force of 5-15 lbf.
We took the existing design and conducted a FEA analysis to determine the required thickness and optimal design.
As a result we reduced the prototyping process to a minimum and shortened the lead time to a finished product by several weeks.
Let us help you with your Stamped Sheet Metal Design today.
